Breeding module with inbreeding calculation
Are you aiming for an efficient, highly productive animal or is the emphasis of your breeding goal more on health or a good exterior? Discover the genetic differences in your herd and make smart breeding choices with the breeding module in the GIT management program.
The GIT breeding module offers you complete insight into the genetic quality of your animals, calculates breeding values for milk, fat, protein, cell count, urea and offers you tools to make the most profitable pairing, whereby the module takes the inbreeding percentage into account. This can be done for both AI and natural matings.
On the pedigree card in the module you can see the inbreeding percentage of each individual animal compared to your herd and all animals in the worldwide GIC database. This allows you to search for new genetics with a low relatedness outside or inside your farm.
